Orders + Shipping
There is a minimum order requirement of $250. Sample orders can be exempted from the limit, (sample pricing will apply).
We want to make sure your order gets to you as quickly and accurately as possible! For the quickest turnaround on your order, please place your order using our wholesale website. Most orders are shipped in 3-5 business days, sometimes sooner. Orders placed online are automatically entered into our system, allowing us to provide you the highest quality service. All orders that are emailed in or otherwise not submitted through our wholesale site take an additional 1-3 days of processing time.
We accept orders with future ship dates but are unable to guarantee future stock. These orders will be pulled a week prior to the requested ship date. You will receive a notification if an item is out of stock at this time.
If you should encounter an error with your order, please let us know right away (within 7 days of receipt) so we can make it right.

Please double check your shipping address, especially on orders shipping internationally. Wrong addresses can be costly (and sometimes impossible) to correct, and they cause delays in getting your order to you. If there's an error in the address you entered and you are unable to collect your order, you will be charged any fees we incur to ship and return the package to our warehouse.
We are happy to ship third party FedEx or UPS on your account if you'd rather cover the shipping costs yourself. Please select 'Ship Using My Shipping Account' at checkout and enter the carrier and account number you would like us to use in the notes section. Please note that we are only able to offer third party shipping for domestic USA orders.
We are a green company and we do our best to minimize paper usage and unnecessary shipping. There is a $5 charge for every paper invoice. This includes sending invoices in the mail and invoices printed to be included in an order when it ships. You will automatically get a packing slip in your order (no prices will be displayed), and your email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of order.
If an accounting email is not provided on the invoice, the invoice will be sent directly to the buyer or the rep.
We’re a small company and it takes a lot of resources for us to chase down late invoices. Paying your invoice on-time helps us keep our prices as low as possible. A 5% late fee is assessed for every 30 days an invoice is past due.
Invoices that are 120 days past due are automatically sent to collections.
We do our best to keep prices where they are, as we know that changes are hard for you and your business as well, but sometimes the cost of materials and labor (or trade wars) make it necessary for us to update. In the event of a price increase, it will always be immediately reflected on our wholesale website. We regret that we are unable to send individual stores notice of price increases. Prices listed on the wholesale site are the current, contracted prices at the time an order is placed, and apply to all orders regardless of the channel through which the order is placed.
Any negotiated pricing is valid for 6 months.
We accept credit card, check and PayPal payments. We cannot accept Money Orders or checks from international banks (we would love to, but our bank won’t allow us to deposit them).
Vendor Set up
We are only able to fill out vendor item forms once a PO has been submitted.
If additional paperwork/entry of information into a website or portal is required for each shipment, a $20-$100 fee will be assessed depending on the time needed to perform the tasks.
Web + Online Sales
Retailers are welcome to carry our products in their online storefronts if they also have a corresponding brick and mortar store. We don't allow other online-only companies to sell our goods. All vendors are prohibited from selling our products on auction or marketplace sites (i.e. eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Storenvy, Walmart.com, etc).
If you need images for your website, you may take them from our website.
All online listings must be branded Cognitive Surplus in the title or description.
We want our products to do well for you! If things aren't working out and you'd like to swap out what you have for something different, we're happy to exchange things in new condition. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges of products that have been price stickered, or that have any sticker residue or damage from tags having been removed.
We do not offer drop shipping.
